Requirements

To be eligible for a Rain account, you need to be 21 years or older if you reside in Egypt or Kuwait. However, you need to be 18 years or older to apply from anywhere else. 

To start, you will need the following:

1. Email address that you have access to.

2. Phone number capable of receiving SMS text messages. 

3. Provide personal identification documents like a national identification card, passport or a driver's license.

4. Complete an identity check by capturing a liveness check.

5. Provide a proof of address, which is any document that outlines your full address and your name. You can get more details on this requirement here. 

 When you’re ready, you can visit our website or use our mobile application. 

1. Enter your email and click on get started.

2.  Enter your details in all boxes. Click Create Your Account.

3. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your email address.

4. Verify your phone number by entering the verification code sent to your number. 

5. Verify your address by uploading your proof of address document. 

6. Complete your identity verification by recording a selfie and following the instructions on the screen. 

7. Add the necessary information regarding your occupation and funds.

Once you submit all of the required documents, keep an eye on your email for updates from us. It may take up to 24 hours to review your application.
